Wine Spies
2012-06-01
At Wine Spies, a small wine e-commerce company, I was the technology department. I rebuilt the website and its e-commerce systems, including credit card billing, order management, warehouse integrations, marketing email tools, and packing slips, working primarily in Ruby on Rails and JavaScript. I integrated our sales platform with outside partners. I built an iOS app for buying wine on the go. With a small team, my work extended into business analytics, logistics, and figuring out how to make the operation run better.
